Workflow 1: Detect Secrets

Purpose: Scan files for plaintext secrets and report findings without displaying values.

When to Use

• Before committing code to version control

How It Works

1. User provides file path
2. Skill validates op CLI is installed
3. Skill reads file line by line
4. Skill applies secret detection patterns

Usage Pattern

Step 1: Validate op CLI

Naming Conventions

Suggested 1Password Structure:

• Vault: Project name (e.g., "Terraphim", "MyProject")
• Item: Service/component name (e.g., "GitHub-OAuth", "Database", "API-Keys")
• Field: Variable name in lowercase (e.g., "client_secret", "api_key", "password")

Workflow 3: Inject Secrets

Purpose: Populate templates with secrets from 1Password using op inject.
