Executive Dashboard Generation
Purpose
Produce a strategic executive dashboard from schedule, cost, and risk data.
Canonical Format — Project Trinity
The reference layout is Project Trinity — Executive Dashboard.pdf (A4, 3-page portrait).
All new dashboards must replicate this layout.
Canonical Sources (in priority order)
Project Trinity — Executive Dashboard.pdf — visual/layout reference only (page structure, section arrangement)
- Existing project dashboards (e.g.
AlphaX/AlphaX_Executive_Dashboard.html) — HTML/CSS structure reference only; never copy their project-specific content, dates, parties, budget figures, risk data, or narrative text
Content Generation Rules
- Never copy programme overview text, budget figures, risk indicators, milestone dates, workstream descriptions, or any narrative from another project.
- All content must be derived from the current project's schedule, cost plan, and risk register.
- Dates, countdown calculations, and phase timelines must reflect the current project's actual timeline.
- Workstream coverage must match the current project's scope (applications, SAP, infrastructure, etc.).
- Regional distribution must reflect the current project's site locations.
- Key parties, buyer/seller, and carve-out model must be from the current project's intake data.
Non-Negotiables
- Self-contained HTML (no external CDN/fonts/URLs).
- Bosch palette and system font stack only.
- Bosch logo: embed
Bosch.png as data:image/png;base64,... in an <img> tag.
- File:
Bosch.png (workspace root)
- Size the
<img> at height:36px inside the header.
- Print-safe page-break rules (
page-break-before:always on .page-break).
- SharePoint offline rendering support.
Colour Theme — Blue as Primary
Use Blue as the primary/hero colour for all new HTML outputs. Do NOT use Bosch Red (#E20015) as the dominant background or header colour.
| Role | Recommended value |
|---|
| Hero / header background | #003b6e (deep navy blue) |
| Accent / highlight | #0066CC (Bosch mid-blue) |
| Section header bar | #005199 |
| Link / interactive | #0077BB |
| Status: GREEN | #007A33 |
| Status: AMBER | #E8A000 |
| Status: RED | #CC0000 |
| Body background | #f4f6f9 |
| Card background | #ffffff |
| Body text | #1a1a1a |
Bosch Red may still appear for red-status RAG badges or critical-path indicators, but must not be the primary brand colour of the document.
Bosch Logo Embedding
Read Bosch.png from workspace root and base64-encode it, then use:
<img src="data:image/png;base64,<BASE64>" alt="Bosch — Invented for Life" style="height:36px;display:block;" />
Wrap it in a white background container (e.g. background:#fff; padding:4px 8px; border-radius:4px;).
