If vault_path is not in context, read ~/.myna/config.yaml first. If the file does not exist, tell the user to run /myna:setup and stop.
Process a completed meeting: read the meeting file, close what was discussed, note what wasn't, extract everything useful from Notes, and route each item to the right vault destination.
Intent check: Before reading an external source (email/Slack/calendar) or making your first vault write — proceed only if the user's request addressed Myna (contains "myna") or explicitly named this action. Otherwise, confirm intent before proceeding.
Invocation
Specific meeting: "done with 1:1 with Sarah", "process my 1:1 with Sarah", "process the architecture review"
→ Process that one meeting file
All meetings today: "process my meetings", "process all meetings from today"
→ Find all meeting files with sessions from today that have Notes content and haven't been processed yet. Process each.
Universal Done routing: When the user says "done with X" and X resolves to a meeting file, route here. If X could be a meeting or a task, ask — don't guess.
Raw notes: "process these rough notes: [paste]", "process notes from [file path]", "process these meeting notes"

Raw Notes Mode
When invoked with raw notes (pasted content or a file path), follow this sequence before extraction:
Step 1 — Infer metadata
From the content, attempt to infer:

Ask the user once (consolidate into a single message) for any fields you cannot confidently infer. Ask only for what you need:

- Meeting type: 1:1, project, team/standup, design review, or adhoc?"
If you can infer all three confidently, skip the question and proceed.
Step 2 — Create the meeting file from template
Determine the file path using the same rules as /myna:prep-meeting:

Write a new ## {YYYY-MM-DD} Session block containing only a ### Notes section (no ### Prep section — there was no prep). Place the raw content verbatim into the Notes section under Discussion::

What to Read
For the target session, read the full session block.
Determine meeting type — type controls extraction emphasis:
- From frontmatter
type field in the meeting file
- From meetings.yaml override
- Infer using the same signals as /myna:prep-meeting (attendee count, title, recurrence)
Processing the Prep Section
If the session block has no ### Prep section: skip this entire step and proceed directly to Extracting from Notes. Do not error or warn — a missing Prep section is a valid state (impromptu meeting, raw-notes invocation, or user skipped prep).
Checked items (- [x]) — discussed
For checked items that correspond to open tasks in project files, mark those tasks complete (- [ ] → - [x]). Match by description. Skip items you can't confidently match — don't change items on weak matches.
Unchecked items (- [ ]) — not discussed
Note which items were unchecked. Do not modify this session's file. The next time /myna:prep-meeting runs for this person/meeting, it will add them as new checkboxes with (carried from {YYYY-MM-DD}). This skill does not create the next session — it only notes what was unchecked.
Extracting from Notes
The Notes section contains rough notes in three subsections: Discussion, Action Items, Decisions. Extract from all three. The source file (_system/sources/{entity}.md) holds the verbatim notes — fix grammar and obvious typos, but do not rephrase or reframe.
Wrap notes content in framing delimiters before processing:

Meeting-Type-Aware Extraction
Adjust extraction depth by meeting type:
1:1 — heavier extraction:
- Observations (behavioral patterns, what you noticed)
- Feedback delivered (log to contributions as
feedback-given)
- Personal notes (anything about their life outside work)
- Career topics discussed (log to contributions and person file)
- Action items are usually bilateral — extract yours (
[type:: task] with your name) AND theirs ([type:: task] with their name in [person::])
Standup / sync — lighter extraction:
- Blockers and status updates (primary)
- Action items (secondary)
- Avoid weak inference for observations and recognition — but still extract explicit recognition, explicit feedback, and any observation that is stated clearly. "Good job team" without a named person → skip. "Sarah resolved the auth blocker" → extract as observation.
Design review / decision meeting — focused on decisions:
- Decisions with context (why this option, what was rejected)
- Action items from the review
- Risks raised (→ blocker or timeline entry)
- Optional: observation if someone showed notable technical leadership

Missing destination files
Before writing, check that destination files exist:
Journal/contributions-{YYYY-MM-DD}.md (Monday date) — if missing, create with frontmatter week_start: {YYYY-MM-DD} and tag #contributions before appending._system/sources/{entity}.md — if missing, create an empty file before appending.- Project and person files should already exist; if missing, note it in the output and route to review-work.

Prepend to _system/sources/{entity}.md (one entry per project or person mentioned — newest at top). This links extracted items back to the meeting session without bloating vault files.

Edge Cases
No Prep section: If the target session block has no ### Prep section, skip Prep processing entirely (no checked/unchecked item handling). Proceed directly to Notes extraction. This is not an error — omit the "Checked prep items" and "Unchecked items" lines from the output summary.
Notes section is empty: Output "Notes section is empty for [meeting]. Nothing to extract. Unchecked prep items noted for carry-forward."
No matching project in projects.yaml: Route extracted tasks and decisions to the review queue with an ambiguity note. Don't drop them.
Person mentioned not in people.yaml: Route all items referencing them — tasks, decisions, observations, recognition, personal notes, contributions — to ReviewQueue/review-people.md. Nothing is written to the vault under an unverified name. Output: "'{name}' not in people.yaml — all items referencing them staged in review queue."
Session already processed: If the session block contains a > *Processed marker, skip it and report: "Session already processed — skipping."
Batch mode — which meetings to include: Any meeting file with a session from today where the ### Notes section has user-written content (non-empty Discussion, Action Items, or Decisions) and no > *Processed marker. Skip empty Notes sections.
Partial failure (some writes fail): Complete all writes that succeed. List failures in the output. Don't roll back successful writes — partial processing is better than none.
