Blast radius before a change — everything a node affects (forward) or that depends on it (backward), ranked and located, with likely-dead code flagged. Also the one-hop view of direct connections.
Set up or rebuild the structural graph for a repo — on first use, after a big refactor, or to wire repo-graph into a project permanently.
Get oriented in a codebase before reading files — repo shape, entry points, where the graph is blind, and the full structural map. Use at the start of any task in an unfamiliar or large repo.

Connect things across modules or the front/back boundary — a whole feature's path, or two specific endpoints.
trace with one argument (from_node=<feature>) → the ordered path across the stack, each hop labelled with its mechanism (call / HTTP / queue / event), cross-service hops marked. The old separate flow tool is folded into this one-argument mode.trace with from_node=<node> and to_node=<node> → the shortest path, hop by hop with tier transitions. If you're unsure of the exact names, call find first.If there's no path, the two aren't connected in the graph — say so plainly rather than guessing a link.
