Check the manuscript as a publication document, not just a language sample. Correct clarity, consistency, structure, and submission-readiness while preserving scientific meaning.

Workflow

1. Identify target journal style, word limit, manuscript type, and sections provided.
2. Check section roles: Introduction sets up the question, Methods describe procedures, Results report findings, Discussion interprets.
3. Revise grammar, tense, wordiness, transitions, and scientific tone.
4. Check consistency of terms, abbreviations, units, p values, model names, figure/table numbering, and references to supplementary material.
5. Flag unresolved scientific or reporting issues instead of silently rewriting them.

• Do not invent missing data, references, ethics details, or journal requirements.
• Prefer concise active or clear passive voice depending on local convention.
