Email

Send emails using various email services.

Setup

1. Check existing credentials (per provider):

   vault_get resend_api_key
   vault_get sendgrid_api_key
   vault_get mailgun_api_key
   vault_get mailgun_domain
   vault_get postmark_server_token
   

2. If not configured, choose one provider and save to vault:

   • Resend (recommended): https://resend.com/api-keys

     vault_save resend_api_key "re_xxx"
     

     Auto-injected as $RESEND_API_KEY.

   • SendGrid: https://app.sendgrid.com/settings/api_keys

     vault_save sendgrid_api_key "SG.xxx"
     

     Auto-injected as $SENDGRID_API_KEY.

   • Mailgun: https://app.mailgun.com/settings/api_security

     vault_save mailgun_api_key "key-xxx"
     vault_save mailgun_domain "mg.example.com"
     

     Auto-injected as $MAILGUN_API_KEY and $MAILGUN_DOMAIN.

   • Postmark: https://account.postmarkapp.com/servers

     vault_save postmark_server_token "xxx-xxx-xxx"
     

     Auto-injected as $POSTMARK_SERVER_TOKEN.

• Resend: Free 3000 emails/month, easiest API
• SendGrid: Free 100 emails/day forever
• Mailgun: Free 5000 emails/month for 3 months
• Use HTML + plain text for better deliverability
• Always verify sender domain for production
