Host the memory-of-use ledger's schema/counting/status-vocabulary convention and the confirmed-proposal apply/verify/rollback/SECGATE machinery — the single, mandatory, deny-listed skill so this governing prose is reliably present from setup (Mode A + Mode B) and can never itself be an apply's target (ADR-061)
Host the skill-content pull flow — classify every installed curated skill via fresh-bytes-on-both-sides against the on-disk pool and the workspace's own install manifest, offer per-component updates with no silent overwrite, and stand as the mechanism that backfills the three mandatory safety skills (self-apply, self-archive, self-upgrade) into any workspace that runs this flow — Face 1 of the v2.19 Persistency Layer (KDQ-PULL), kept textually distinct from self-upgrade's engine-version Face 2 (ADR-072/073)
Host the auto-cleaning move-eligibility gate, destination gating, reversible-move-log rollback, and reference-integrity verification for proposing a stale/superseded file's relocation into the local archive convention — the sibling, mandatory, deny-listed skill to self-apply, holding the PATH-relocation operation type separately so neither module carries two verification concerns (ADR-066)
Host the kit-version walk-forward contract and the two-write-class self-integrity invariant (verify-then-swap on safety machinery) for replacing a workspace's own engine/framework machinery across kit versions — the third deny-listed sibling to self-apply/self-archive, dormant at v2.19 (zero real forward-walk targets) but installed and reachable now so no future rung has to backfill the gate (ADR-071)

Use creative-brief when a project problem is vague, a client brief lacks direction, or a team needs alignment before creative work begins. This skill turns an unclear problem into a structured document: audience, goals, principles, constraints, and success criteria. Use it at project kickoff, when realigning mid-project, or when a brief from a client or stakeholder is too diffuse to act on. This skill produces a brief — not a creative concept, not a strategy deck, and not a project plan.
Plain markdown in the chat. Sections in this order: Problem statement, Audience, Principles, Constraints, Success criteria, What we're NOT doing. Use **bold** for section labels. No JSON, no YAML, no Obsidian wikilinks. Output is portable — usable in project docs, Notion, email, or slide decks.
Input: "We need a creative brief for a campaign introducing our new sustainable packaging. Target is eco-conscious consumers. Launch in 8 weeks. Budget is modest. We can't make any claims we can't substantiate."
Output:
Problem statement: Environmentally-conscious shoppers don't yet know we've switched to sustainable packaging — so a purchase choice that could align with their values currently goes unnoticed at point of decision.
Audience: Shoppers who actively research brand sustainability before purchase. They are skeptical of greenwashing and distrust claims they can't verify. They reward transparency and penalize vague virtue-signaling.
Principles:
Constraints: No unsubstantiated environmental claims (legal requirement). Launch assets must be ready in 8 weeks. Budget does not allow video production. Digital-first: social + point-of-sale.
Success criteria: A skeptical eco-conscious shopper, shown the campaign cold, can state in one sentence what changed and why they should care — without reading the small print.
What we're NOT doing: Big celebration launch tone. Carbon-offset messaging (not in scope this cycle). Competitive comparisons.
Creative-brief consults context/writing-profile.md for register and tone calibration in the Principles and Problem statement sections, which are the most voice-dependent parts of the brief. A formal profile produces more structured, precise principle language; a conversational profile produces more direct, punchy phrasing. The Constraints and Success criteria sections are structural data — profile-neutral. If no writing-profile exists, default to clear and direct register.
