Run Butler Dev Environment

Start both dev servers and verify they're healthy.

Steps

1. Build shared package first (API and frontend resolve types from dist/):

   pnpm --filter @butler/shared build
   

2. Start both dev servers in background:

   pnpm --filter @butler/api dev &    # wrangler on port 8787
   pnpm --filter @butler/frontend dev & # vite on port 5173
   

3. Verify health:

   • API: curl http://localhost:8787/health → {"status":"ok"}
   • Frontend: open http://localhost:5173 in browser

Ports

• API: http://localhost:8787
• Frontend: http://localhost:5173

Common Issues

• If types are stale, rebuild shared: pnpm --filter @butler/shared build
• If ports are in use: lsof -ti:8787 | xargs kill / lsof -ti:5173 | xargs kill
