Initialize or audit a project's CLAUDE.md against best-practice criteria. Use on first-time setup ('init', 'set up project', 'first time in this repo'), when scanning a project to create CLAUDE.md, or when refreshing an existing CLAUDE.md against the current state of the codebase. Replaces Claude Code's default /init.
Use when starting any conversation - establishes how to find and use skills, requiring Skill tool invocation before ANY response including clarifying questions
Check installed plugins for conflicts with super-agent-skills and suggest complementary MCP servers. Use to optimize your plugin setup.
Optimizes agent context setup. Use when starting a new session, when agent output quality degrades, when switching between tasks, or when you need to configure rules files and context for a project.
Use when completing tasks, implementing major features, or before merging to verify work meets requirements
Use when receiving code review feedback, before implementing suggestions, especially if feedback seems unclear or technically questionable - requires technical rigor and verification, not performative agreement or blind implementation

Execute plan by dispatching fresh subagent per task, with two-stage review after each: spec compliance review first, then code quality review.
Why subagents: You delegate tasks to specialized agents with isolated context. By precisely crafting their instructions and context, you ensure they stay focused and succeed at their task. They should never inherit your session's context or history — you construct exactly what they need. This also preserves your own context for coordination work.
Core principle: Fresh subagent per task + two-stage review (spec then quality) = high quality, fast iteration

Chain completion: After requesting-code-review approves the implementation, it will prompt the user with completion options: wrap up (lightweight checkpoint), ship it (merge/PR), or keep going. Do NOT commit or push directly — the chain handles it.
| Role | Model | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Implementer | "sonnet" | Default for all tasks |
| Spec compliance reviewer | "sonnet" | — |
| Code quality reviewer | "sonnet" | — |
| Final integration reviewer | "sonnet" | Upgrade to user's main model for complex multi-stream integrations |
Set model: "sonnet" explicitly in every Agent tool call for these roles.
When to upgrade the final reviewer: If the implementation spans 5+ tasks touching many files with complex integration concerns, use the user's main model for the final integration review. For standard implementations, sonnet is sufficient.
Implementer subagents report one of four statuses. Handle each appropriately:
DONE: Proceed to spec compliance review.
DONE_WITH_CONCERNS: The implementer completed the work but flagged doubts. Read the concerns before proceeding. If the concerns are about correctness or scope, address them before review. If they're observations (e.g., "this file is getting large"), note them and proceed to review.
NEEDS_CONTEXT: The implementer needs information that wasn't provided. Provide the missing context and re-dispatch.
BLOCKED: The implementer cannot complete the task. Assess the blocker:
Never ignore an escalation or force the same model to retry without changes. If the implementer said it's stuck, something needs to change.
Implementer Instructions (include in every dispatch):
In addition to the task text and context, instruct the implementer to:
Reference: The implementer should follow super-agent-skills:incremental-implementation and super-agent-skills:test-driven-development skills.
Domain skills auto-trigger based on task context:
super-agent-skills:api-and-interface-designsuper-agent-skills:frontend-ui-engineeringsuper-agent-skills:security-and-hardeningsuper-agent-skills:performance-optimizationsuper-agent-skills:source-driven-developmentsuper-agent-skills:documentation-and-adrssuper-agent-skills:browser-testing-with-devtoolsWhen the plan contains independent tasks (no shared files), dispatch them simultaneously for faster execution.
Before dispatching the next batch of tasks, check for file overlap:
Task 3: Files: src/api/tasks.ts, tests/api/tasks.test.ts
Task 4: Files: src/components/TaskList.tsx, tests/components/TaskList.test.tsx
Task 5: Files: src/api/tasks.ts, src/api/auth.ts
→ Task 3 and Task 4: zero overlap → PARALLEL
→ Task 5 shares src/api/tasks.ts with Task 3 → SEQUENTIAL (after Task 3)
For detailed algorithm and examples, see parallel-dispatch-guide.md.

[Read plan file once: docs/plans/feature-plan.md]
[Extract all 5 tasks with full text and context]
[Create TodoWrite with all tasks]
Task 1: Hook installation script
[Get Task 1 text and context (already extracted)]
[Dispatch implementation subagent with full task text + context]
Implementer: "Before I begin - should the hook be installed at user or system level?"
You: "User level (~/.config/super-agent-skills/hooks/)"
Implementer: "Got it. Implementing now..."
[Later] Implementer:
- Implemented install-hook command
- Added tests, 5/5 passing
- Self-review: Found I missed --force flag, added it
- Committed
[Dispatch spec compliance reviewer]
Spec reviewer: ✅ Spec compliant - all requirements met, nothing extra
[Get git SHAs, dispatch code quality reviewer]
Code reviewer: Strengths: Good test coverage, clean. Issues: None. Approved.
[Mark Task 1 complete]
Task 2: Recovery modes
[Get Task 2 text and context (already extracted)]
[Dispatch implementation subagent with full task text + context]
Implementer: [No questions, proceeds]
Implementer:
- Added verify/repair modes
- 8/8 tests passing
- Self-review: All good
- Committed
[Dispatch spec compliance reviewer]
Spec reviewer: ❌ Issues:
- Missing: Progress reporting (spec says "report every 100 items")
- Extra: Added --json flag (not requested)
[Implementer fixes issues]
Implementer: Removed --json flag, added progress reporting
[Spec reviewer reviews again]
Spec reviewer: ✅ Spec compliant now
[Dispatch code quality reviewer]
Code reviewer: Strengths: Solid. Issues (Important): Magic number (100)
[Implementer fixes]
Implementer: Extracted PROGRESS_INTERVAL constant
[Code reviewer reviews again]
Code reviewer: ✅ Approved
[Mark Task 2 complete]
...
[After all tasks]
[Post-implementation verification]
[Dispatch final code-reviewer]
Final reviewer: All requirements met, ready to merge
Done!
After ALL tasks are complete but BEFORE dispatching the final code reviewer:
If any issues are found, fix them before proceeding to the final code review.

| Thought | Reality |
|---|---|
| "The implementer self-reviewed, that's enough" | Self-review is necessary but not sufficient. External review catches blind spots. |
| "This task is too small to need review" | Small tasks with subtle bugs compound across the codebase. Review everything. |
| "Skip spec review, the tests pass" | Tests verify behavior, spec review verifies intent. Both are needed. |
| "The final review will catch it" | Final review is for integration issues. Per-task review catches bugs early when they're cheap to fix. |
| "It's faster to skip the post-implementation verification" | Finding integration bugs after code review is slower than finding them before. |
