Planning Backwards Best Practices
Goal
- Work backwards from highest leverage thing we could do. For example goal of $100,000,000 in revenue by X date.
- We ask ourselves what are the highest leverage things we could do from an economic perspective and how can we build systems to deliver that?
- We ask ourselves, what does it take on the physical and software side to roll this out?
- We do not start with requirements. That's at the end once we've gone through the previous steps.
