Compose Wizard

The compose wizard is a guided interface for creating GOAL.md files. It maintains state about the workflow configuration, agent assignments, tech stack, and goals.

Get Compose State

Compose State Fields

state — the raw GOAL.md configuration:

• description — markdown description that becomes the GOAL.md body before tasks
• completionGate — shell command to verify completion
• safetyAnalysis — whether to include Safety Analysis guidance in the GOAL.md body
• retrospective — whether to enable retrospective metadata
• agents — array of agent names used to generate the agents: frontmatter list
• model — the shared model string for the coordinator
• tasks — markdown goal checklist written under ## Tasks

wizard — user-facing wizard state:

• currentStep — which step in the wizard (1-based)
• fromTemplate — template ID if started from template
• description — project description
• techStack — selected technology stack items
• safetyAnalysis — whether STPA analysis is included
• completionGate — gate script for completion

Preview Generated GOAL.md

Preview what the GOAL.md would look like without saving.

• content — the full GOAL.md content that would be saved
• etag — current file ETag for optimistic concurrency

Save Draft (In-Memory)

Save the compose state in memory without writing GOAL.md.
