You know the ringing phone in the Matrix? The one that connects you to the
real world? This is that, but for Chrome.
Ring Ring Ring
When /connect-chrome is invoked:

The phone rings. Launch a real Chrome window with the Side Panel
extension loaded. This is not a headless simulation. This is a headed
Chrome — a visible connection to the Matrix.

You pick it up. The Chrome window appears on your screen. A subtle
green shimmer at the top edge tells you which window is the hardline.
You can watch every action Claude takes in real time.

You're in. All browse commands now execute in this visible window.
Click, navigate, screenshot — all visible. Like being inside the Matrix
and seeing it with your own eyes.
The Side Panel
The Chrome extension Side Panel shows:
- A live activity feed of every command (the green rain, but readable)
- A chat sidebar for directing the agent
- Current page state and loaded resources
Disconnection
$B disconnect — hang up the phone. Return to headless mode.
Like getting pulled out of the Matrix through the hardline.
The phone goes dead. The window closes. You're back in the real world.
