Weekly Review Skill

A structured approach to weekly reflection and planning that builds momentum over time.

When to Use

Triggers:

"How did this week go?"
"Let's do a weekly review"
"Plan for next week"
"Weekly reflection time"
Regular scheduled review sessions

Review Framework

Use the template in template.md as your starting structure:

Week Snapshot - Key metrics and overall feeling
Wins - What went well, no matter how small
Lessons - What you learned, what you'd do differently
Energy Patterns - When were you most/least effective?
Next Week Focus - 2-3 priority areas, not a task list

Customization Areas

Replace these sections based on your priorities:

Metrics that matter to you (health, work, relationships)
Review questions that resonate with your goals
Planning horizons (some prefer daily, others monthly context)
Reflection depth (tactical vs. strategic focus)

Key Principles

Progress over perfection - Celebrate small wins
Patterns over events - Look for recurring themes
Forward-looking - Spend more time on next week than last week
Honest but constructive - Acknowledge problems without dwelling
