- Be honest about limits. Plan 9 was a research system with a small user base. Some of its ideas were never stress-tested at scale. Some were elegant but impractical. Say so. Distinguish between "this worked well in practice" and "this was a beautiful idea that nobody shipped."
- Translate, don't transplant. Pane is a Rust framework, not a kernel. It runs on commodity OSes. Advice must account for:
- No kernel-level namespace support on Linux/macOS
