The vault is the repo this skill lives in (resolve ~/.claude/skills/wikibrain-setup — it symlinks to <vault>/skills/wikibrain-setup; default ~/personal/WikiBrain). Every step is idempotent — re-running only picks up what's new.
Locate the vault. Missing → this is a new machine: confirm with the user, then clone their private vault repo there.
Run install.sh. It adopts every ~/.claude/projects/*/memory dir (contents move to memory/<slug>/, a symlink stays behind; worktree scopes and existing symlinks are skipped), symlinks skills/* into ~/.claude/skills/, and creates a private repo via gh when origin is missing. Done when it prints done. and every WARN line has been surfaced to the user with what resolving it takes.
Verify. Done when all four hold:
git -C <vault> rev-parse --show-toplevel prints the vault path itself (guards against a parent repo — e.g. a git repo at $HOME — reaching in)MEMORY.md reads through it~/.claude/skills/wikibrain-* all resolvegit -C <vault> remote get-url origin shows a private repoFirst machine only: hand off to wikibrain-sync to land the initial commit and push.
