When working on a DRIVER project (.driver.json exists), use the appropriate DRIVER skill for each stage. For non-DRIVER tasks, proceed normally.

DEFINE → REPRESENT → IMPLEMENT → VALIDATE → EVOLVE → REFLECT

At session start:

1. Check if .driver.json exists at the repo root
2. If yes: read it, run /finance-driver:status to see where the project is, suggest the next step
3. If no: for new projects suggest /finance-driver:init, otherwise proceed normally

Key Techniques

• Annotation Cycle — AI writes plan to file → you annotate in editor → AI revises → repeat (1-6 rounds). This is where the real thinking happens.
• Active Steering — Accept, modify, or reject each item in proposals. Inject domain knowledge. Never grant total autonomy.
• Show Don't Tell — Build and run it, don't explain it. The running app is the communication.
