Workflow

1. Confirm the review purpose: background, related work, systematic screen, positioning, or claim support.
2. Inventory sources and label missing metadata.
3. Group sources by problem, method, result, limitation, or disagreement.
4. Separate summary from interpretation.
5. Produce synthesis notes and source gaps that can feed paper planning.

Source Support

Every substantive summary should point to a source manifest entry, bibliography key, or user-provided excerpt. Flag claims that depend on unread, unavailable, or low-confidence sources. Do not fabricate citations or quote text that was not supplied.

Human Checkpoints

The human researcher approves source inclusion, exclusion, interpretation, and the level of confidence before synthesis becomes manuscript argumentation.
