Write plans assuming engineer: zero codebase context, questionable taste. Document all: files per task, code, testing, docs, how to test. Bite-sized tasks. DRY. YAGNI. TDD. Frequent commits.
Assume skilled dev, knows almost nothing about toolset/domain, poor test design.
Announce at start: "Using writing-plans skill."
Context: Run in dedicated worktree (created by brainstorming skill).
Save plans to: docs/superpowers/plans/YYYY-MM-DD-<feature-name>.md
Spec covers multiple independent subsystems? Should've been split during brainstorming. If not, suggest separate plans — one per subsystem. Each plan: working, testable software on its own.
Before tasks, map files to create/modify and responsibilities. Decomposition locks in here.
Structure informs task decomposition. Each task: self-contained, independent.
Each step is one action (2-5 minutes):
Every plan MUST start with this header:

Every step needs actual content. These are plan failures — never write:
After writing plan, check against spec. Run yourself — not subagent.
1. Spec coverage: Skim each spec section. Point to implementing task? List gaps.
2. Placeholder scan: Search for red flags from "No Placeholders" section. Fix them.
3. Type consistency: Types, signatures, property names match across tasks? clearLayers() in Task 3 but clearFullLayers() in Task 7 = bug.
Issues found: fix inline. No re-review. Missing requirement: add task.
After saving, offer choice:
