**ANALYSIS SKILL** — Analyze any repository and generate AI-ready configuration — AGENTS.md, copilot-instructions.md, skills, CI workflows, issue templates. WHEN: "make this repo ai-ready", "set up AI config", "add copilot instructions", "prepare this repo for AI contributions", "generate AGENTS.md". INVOKES: glob, grep, view, create, edit for repo analysis and file generation. FOR SINGLE OPERATIONS: use create/edit directly for individual config files.
Expert-level Windows batch file (.bat/.cmd) skill for writing, debugging, and maintaining CMD scripts. Use when asked to "create a batch file", "write a .bat script", "automate a Windows task", "CMD scripting", "batch automation", "scheduled task script", "Windows shell script", or when working with .bat/.cmd files in the workspace. Covers cmd.exe syntax, environment variables, control flow, string processing, error handling, and integration with system tools.
Turn vague "what did I do?" into evidence-backed impact statements for performance reviews, self-reviews, promotion packets, and weekly updates. Uniquely mines Copilot CLI session logs to reconstruct forgotten work, plus git commits and GitHub PRs. Enforces a 3-part impact contract (action → result → evidence). Works standalone with zero dependencies. Trigger for: "brag", "log work", "what did I do", "backfill my work history", "performance review", "self-review", "self assessment", "write impact statement", "review prep", "promo packet", "promotion case", "weekly update", "status report", "accomplishments", "what did I ship", "I forgot to log my work", "summarize my work", "track my wins", "what should I highlight", "end of half", "career growth", "work journal", or any request to document, summarize, or organize work accomplishments.
Triage and resolve CentOS issues using RHEL-compatible tooling, SELinux-aware practices, and firewalld.
Create Git branches following the Conventional Branch specification (feature/, bugfix/, hotfix/, release/, chore/). Use when creating a new branch, naming a branch, or checking whether a branch name complies with the spec.
Comprehensive guide for configuring and managing GitHub Dependabot. Use this skill when users ask about creating or optimizing dependabot.yml files, managing Dependabot pull requests, configuring dependency update strategies, setting up grouped updates, monorepo patterns, multi-ecosystem groups, security update configuration, auto-triage rules, or any GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) supply chain security topic related to Dependabot. For pre-commit dependency vulnerability scanning in AI coding agents via the GitHub MCP Server, this skill references the Advanced Security plugin (`advanced-security@copilot-plugins`). Use this skill when an agent needs to scan dependencies for known vulnerabilities before committing.

Use this skill as a lean entrypoint for GitHub Actions efficiency work. Inspect the repo, identify the waste source, and load only the reference material needed for the current task.
If no workflows exist yet, load references/actions.md and define a baseline before proceeding with the steps below.
If shell or gh CLI access is unavailable: ask the user to paste .github/workflows/ contents and gh run list --limit 10 output. If only partial files are provided, note it: "Audit based on provided files only; some insights may be incomplete." Begin responses from files alone with: "Static-only analysis (not confirmed with live runs)."

Look for: missing dependency caches, missing concurrency cancellation, over-broad triggers, duplicate workflow coverage, and expensive jobs that run on every change regardless of scope.
Check each proposed fix against these rules before recommending it:
From the six candidates below, keep only those supported by audit evidence from step 1 and passing all guardrails from step 2. Rank survivors by estimated daily CI minutes saved (per-run savings × runs per day). Select all candidates that meet both criteria, up to a maximum of 3.
