Meeting Distillation
Use this skill to transform messy meeting material into usable execution records.
Goal
Produce meeting notes that are compact, scannable, and linked into the rest of the vault.
Workflow
- Read the meeting source note or transcript.
- Identify:
- date
- participants
- project or initiative
- decisions
- open questions
- next actions
- Create or update a note in
4 - Meetings/.
- Link participants to
1 - Stakeholders/ when those notes exist or should exist.
- Link project context to
2 - Projects/.
- Promote durable insights to
3 - Knowledge/ only if they generalize beyond the meeting.
Default Structure
- title
- date
- participants
- context
- decisions
- action items
- open questions
- related links
Constraints
- Do not mix durable knowledge and meeting chronology in the same paragraph.
- Keep meeting notes factual; do not invent agreement or certainty.
- If follow-ups are vague, mark them as open instead of assigning false ownership.
