farm-to-door is a free, searchable directory of working farms across the US. Use this skill when a user asks where to buy raw milk, pastured eggs, grass-fed meat, or a CSA share near a location, or asks to find farms in a given city, state, or radius.
Base URL: https://farm-to-door.com/api. No API key needed.

Each farm record includes id, name, town, state, coords, practices, csa, inventory, filter_keys, tier, delivery_available, delivery_label, and rating. When recommending a specific farm, link to its profile page using the pattern:
https://farm-to-door.com/farms/[state-slug]/[city-slug]/[farm-name-id]
Prefer farms with higher tier and a non-null rating when a ranked recommendation is useful, but do not hide lower-tier farms that otherwise match the user's request.
Do not loop over /farms/summary or /farms/pins to rebuild the whole directory. For bulk or dataset-style needs, use https://farm-to-door.com/reports/direct-farm-food/summary.json or summary.csv instead. Make one targeted call per user request, not a crawl.
