Status: Abandoned protocol from early BSV days. Stored data on-chain using B protocol, so historical artifacts remain accessible via ORDFS (ordfs.network).

NFT inscriptions using ordinal theory on BSV.

Certifier discovery at internet domains. A certifier publishes its identity at a well-known HTTPS path.

did:bap (Provisional)

W3C DID method for BAP identities, defined in BAP PROTOCOL.md.

Format: did:bap:id:<identityKey>

Verification key type: EcdsaSecp256k1VerificationKey2019

Supports key rotation — new signing keys are added to the DID document with authentication and assertionMethod pointing to the current key. The root key is always present as #root.

Off-Chain Standards
