dashboards

Produces a dashboard definition file pre-configured with panels for the standard metrics exported by the instrumentation skill. Substitute {{SERVICE_NAME}} and {{DASHBOARD_TITLE}} before deploying.

When to use

Use when a service is already instrumented and you need a monitoring dashboard without building it from scratch.

Instructions

1. Review PARAMETERS.md and fill in all required placeholders.
2. Copy assets/templates/dashboard.json to your dashboard provider's import directory.
3. Import the dashboard file into your monitoring system.
4. Verify the result: confirm the dashboard shows data for {{SERVICE_NAME}}.

Edge cases

• Missing metrics: If panels show no data, confirm the instrumentation skill was applied first.
