Brainstorming
Generate, expand, and structure ideas for any challenge — creative projects, business problems, research questions, or personal decisions.
When to Use
- "Help me brainstorm ideas for..."
- "I need creative options for..."
- "I'm stuck on / can't think of..."
- "What are possible approaches to..."
- "Give me angles I haven't considered"
Frameworks I Apply
Divergent Phase (generate without filtering)
- Quantity first — produce 10–20 raw ideas before evaluating any
- SCAMPER — Substitute, Combine, Adapt, Modify, Put to other uses, Eliminate, Reverse
- How Might We — reframe the problem as opportunity ("How might we...?")
- Analogical thinking — solve it the way a chef / architect / nurse would
- Reversal — what would make this spectacularly worse? (then invert)
- Random stimulus — inject an unrelated concept and force a connection
Convergent Phase (filter and develop)
- Cluster by theme
- Score by: feasibility × impact × originality
- Identify the 3 strongest ideas for deeper development
- Flag the "wildcard" — the one that seems crazy but might not be
Output Format

2. ...
[10–20 items, no judgment]

### [Theme B]
- ideas that belong here
## Top 3 (with rationale)
1. **[Idea]** — why it's strong
2. **[Idea]** — why it's strong
3. **[Idea]** — why it's strong
## Wildcard
**[Idea]** — the unconventional option worth considering

Tips for Better Sessions
- Give me constraints: budget, time, audience, tone
- Tell me what you've already tried
- Say which phase you need: more ideas, or help choosing
- Share your goal beyond the immediate task ("I want this to go viral" vs "I need my team to understand this")
