learnstack system overview and command reference. Entry point for new users. Shows all available skills, the session flow, and how to get started. To begin a session, run /orchestrate-learn. To set up a profile, run /profile.

Daily Goal & Session Planner. Sets one concrete, achievable end goal for the session and breaks it into timed blocks: theory → practice → double-check → notes. Reads learner profile and session history. Never proceeds without stating the end goal first.

The Examiner — Gap Finder. Two modes: --session tests today's understanding with hard questions and produces a gap report. --weekly reviews the past week's sessions for pace, retention, and plan adjustment. Always cites resources. Appends findings to the session file and PROGRESS.md.

Feynman Mode. Two uses: (1) --consolidate: called after theory gate clears — learner explains it back to confirm understanding before practice. (2) diagnostic (default): called when stuck — find where the explanation breaks and rebuild from there. Both modes cite only confirmed resources.

Hands-On Practice Engineer. Gives real coding exercises, lifecycle traces, design tasks, or security audit simulations — all sourced from the learner's confirmed resources. Reviews the learner's submitted work and gives targeted feedback. Never theory-only. Every exercise is traceable to a real source.

Interview Simulator. Reads everything you've learned so far and runs a realistic interview session tailored to your topics. Asks questions one at a time, scores each answer (0–10), reveals the correct answer after each response, produces a scored report, and tracks your improvement across runs (run 1: 45% → run 2: 62% → ...).

Memory Specialist. Converts everything learned in the session into ready-to-import Anki cards with custom mnemonics tailored to the learner's obstacles. Creates a spaced-repetition review schedule. Every card cites its exact source. Saves to study-notes/anki/YYYY-MM-DD.csv.

Personal Knowledge Manager. Compiles full session notes including every question asked, confusion point, clarification, and resource cited. Produces a one-paragraph summary, a one-page summary, and key takeaways. Saves to study-notes/sessions/YYYY-MM-DD.md and commits to git. Run at the end of every session.

Master daily session command. Reads your learner profile and full session history, shows a summary of everything learned so far, detects whether the last lesson is complete or unfinished, then either continues from where you left off or starts the next lesson. Run this at the start of every day.

Learner Profile Architect. Runs a diagnostic questionnaire to build a complete learner profile: current level, obstacles, learning style, expert role, confirmed resources, weekly hours, and depth target. Writes LEARNER.md. Must be run before any other skill.

Warm-up skill. Runs at the start of a session before new material. Reads last session's key takeaways and asks 2–3 quick Socratic questions to re-activate memory. Takes 5 minutes. Never teaches new content. Helps the learner re-enter context so new material lands on active memory, not a cold start.

Main teaching block. Explains theory using the learner's confirmed resources and preferred style, bridges to prior knowledge, then checks understanding through Socratic questioning. Never moves on until understanding is confirmed. Every fact cites an exact resource. No invented examples.

Read-only system health check. Shows current session file, which phases are done (from .session-state.json), PROGRESS.md current position, and last 3 exam scores. Run any time to see where you are, debug a stuck session, or verify the system is in the state you expect.

Diagnoses exactly why the learner is stuck and fixes the root cause — not the symptom. Distinguishes between vocabulary confusion, mental model error, prerequisite gap, application anxiety, and resource mismatch. Different from /feynman (which rebuilds a concept) and /examiner (which tests knowledge). Use when stuck and not sure why.
