Workflow

1. Identify the core topic, query, or persona need.
2. Check demand and intent with the best available keyword data.
3. Review the live search landscape for usefulness gaps.
4. Check the existing Career Hub corpus to avoid cannibalization.
5. Recommend one primary angle and two backup angles.

Opportunity Brief

Return:

• working title
• primary keyword

• target persona
• why this is net-new instead of a refresh
• top competitor patterns
• usefulness gap to win on
• recommended content type

Research Inputs

Prefer, in order:

1. fresh Semrush data via semrush-keyword-validator (which wraps the validate-keyword recipe in semrush-research) — credit-aware, returns a Ship/Refine/Skip verdict with a filled Opportunity Brief
2. previously cached Semrush results under nextjs-app/docs/research/semrush-cache/
3. live SERP review (when Semrush MCP is unavailable)
4. existing Career Hub coverage in:
   • nextjs-app/src/features/guides/data/guides/articles/data.ts
   • nextjs-app/src/features/financial-tips/data/financial-tips/data.ts
   • other feature-owned content datasets

Exit Condition
