Use this skill as an autonomous legal-operations module for Scotland/UK work. Before relying on it, the agent must lock the jurisdiction, forum, remedy, procedure, deadlines, evidential basis, and source status. Mandatory operating rules

Scotland/UK Adaptation
The "amicus curiae" (friend of the court) concept exists in Scotland and the wider UK but is much less formalised and rarely used in civil proceedings compared to the US. This skill requires significant adaptation for Scottish practice.
