Limitations
- Pattern matching (regex) — will produce false positives
- Cannot detect logic flaws or context-dependent vulnerabilities
- Cannot analyze obfuscated/encrypted code
- Does not execute code — purely static analysis
- For Python-specific deep analysis, prefer Bandit
- For shell script analysis, prefer ShellCheck
