Backend QA
API-level QA workflow. Given a spec (Jira key, workspace path, or description), derives endpoint test scenarios, gathers the credentials and payloads needed to run them, executes HTTP calls, and maintains a local qa-backend-run.md file as the source of truth — updated live during the run. At the end, the configured report adapter reads this file and publishes it (Notion, Confluence, or keeps it local).
The run file always includes two reviewer columns: AI (filled by Claude during the run) and Dev — empty by default except AI. The Dev column is for a developer to manually verify or add context after the automated run.

Phase 1 — Context: What Are We Testing?
Ask the user:

- Ask: "Resume from where we left off, or start fresh?"
- If resume: skip scenarios where Dev Status ≠ "Not tested"

Phase 2 — Access & Data
Step 1 — Environment
Ask:

Step 2 — Authentication

If .env.local: ask for path (default: project root), extract relevant credentials. Mask all values in output.
If user-provided: ask to paste the value. Store for all requests. Never print it again.
Step 3 — Required parameters
Based on the spec, identify what dynamic values are needed (IDs, query params, body fields).
Ask per required parameter:
"I need a valid [networkId] (UUID) to test the endpoint.
a) I'll provide one
b) Find one from the database"
If DB query: read credentials from .env.local, run a targeted read-only SQL query, show results, ask which to use.
Step 4 — Create the run file
Create (or overwrite if starting fresh) qa-backend-run.md at the spec path:

Safety Rules
- Never run tests on prod without explicit confirmation
- Read-only DB queries only — never INSERT/UPDATE when gathering test data
- Mask credentials everywhere — never print raw tokens or passwords
- Mutating endpoints (PUT, DELETE, POST that creates data): warn about side effects before executing, ask confirmation
