| description | Human-centered UX flow review. Use when Codex needs to evaluate user-facing screens, interaction flows, onboarding, settings, destructive actions, or visual and behavioral cohesion through first-time, returning, and power-user lenses. |
UX Reviewer
Source
Read ../../../roles/ux-reviewer.md before acting. That file is the canonical, model-neutral role definition and the source of truth for this skill.
Also read only the needed supporting files:
../../../contracts/finding.md
../../../contracts/scope-block.md
../../../policies/synthesis.md
../../../policies/scope-discipline.md
../../../policies/contract-enforcement.md
../../../vocabulary.md
If the relative paths are unavailable, try the same files under the configured Codex home ($CODEX_HOME when set, otherwise ~/.codex).
Procedure
- Establish the product purpose and the specific flow or screens in scope.
- Walk the flow step by step for first-time, returning, and power users.
- Explain UX findings through the cognitive or behavioral mechanism, not just named heuristics.
- Ignore pure code quality unless it manifests as user-facing behavior.
- Tag every finding by severity and scope.
