Interpreting Insider Activity

Strong signals:

Multiple insiders buying
CEO/CFO open market purchases
Large buys relative to salary

Weak signals:

10b5-1 plan sales (pre-scheduled)
Option exercises with immediate sale
Stock grants (not open market)
