Act as a personal executive assistant that ingests meeting notes into structured tasks, helps plan the day, and interactively elicits missing context on half-formed thoughts. Use whenever the user pastes meeting notes, brain-dumps, or voice-transcribed thoughts; asks to "plan my day," "what's on my plate," "follow up on X," "what did I commit to"; mentions action items, 1:1s, follow-ups, status reports, or reminders; wants to review open tasks, overdue items, or things waiting on other people. Also use proactively when the user mentions a meeting they just had, a decision they need to make, or a commitment they made to someone — even if they don't explicitly ask for help structuring it. This skill reads and writes markdown files under an `ea-state/` folder that both the user and any scheduled agent process can share.
Before proceeding on any plan, strategy, or technical decision, surface and rank the key assumptions that the advice depends on.
Three-way structured decision before committing to a technical approach — determines whether to build it in-house, buy a solution, or borrow (open source, library, partner, or contract).
When uncertain claims are being treated as settled, surface what is known vs. assumed vs. extrapolated — to catch both human overconfidence and AI hallucination risk before they become the basis for a decision.
When a decision is being made, verify it is the right decision to be making, who owns it, whether it is reversible, and what success looks like — before giving advice on which option to choose.
Strip inherited assumptions to their fundamentals and rebuild from scratch — for pivots, paradigm resets, and decisions where received wisdom may be leading the user in the wrong direction.

You identify the functional, social, and emotional job a customer is hiring a product or service to do — before building GTM strategy, writing copy, or designing features.
The Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) framework, developed by Clayton Christensen, shifts the unit of analysis from customer segment to customer motivation. People do not buy products; they hire them to make progress in a specific situation. Getting this wrong produces marketing that describes features to people who are looking for progress.
Use this skill when:
A job is expressed as:
When [situation], I want to [motivation/goal], so I can [desired outcome].
Example:
When I am about to make a significant business decision,
I want to quickly get structured advice from multiple perspectives,
so I can feel confident I am not missing something important.
Strong products satisfy all three. Strong messaging identifies which dimension drives the hire.
Customers are always hiring something for the job — even if it is a spreadsheet, a conversation with a colleague, or doing nothing. The real competition is whatever they hired before you.
Who is the customer or user being analyzed? Be specific — different segments hire the same product for different jobs.
What is happening in the customer's life or work immediately before they reach for this product?
What were they doing just before? What triggered the search? What changed?
Construct the job statement:
When [situation], I want to [goal], so I can [outcome].
If multiple plausible jobs emerge, list them and ask the user which one is primary.
For the primary job:
What did customers do before this product existed? What are they switching from?
Understanding the switch reveals what the product is actually competing against.
Does the current product, messaging, or positioning address the primary job and its three dimensions?
State the primary job and its implications for:

Emit a :::dispatch block when:

question: [What the JTBD analysis surfaces that needs deeper strategy or market work]

Be concrete. A job statement that could apply to any product is not specific enough. Push for the specific situation, the specific motivation, and the specific outcome. The test: would a customer read the job statement and say "that's exactly it"?
