Use this skill whenever the user wants to create, read, edit, or manipulate Word documents (.docx files) or Word templates (.dotx files). Triggers include: any mention of 'Word doc', 'word document', '.docx', '.dotx', or requests to produce professional documents with formatting like tables of contents, headings, page numbers, or letterheads. Also use when extracting or reorganizing content from .docx or .dotx files, inserting or replacing images in documents, performing find-and-replace in Word files, working with tracked changes or comments, or converting content into a polished Word document. If the user asks for a 'report', 'memo', 'letter', 'template', or similar deliverable as a Word or .docx file, use this skill. Do NOT use for PDFs, spreadsheets, Google Docs, or general coding tasks unrelated to document generation.
Use when creating, reviewing, or materially revising a repository-owned Copilot agent under `.github/agents/`.
Use when /internal-aws selects the AWS governance lane for IAM operating models, trust policies, federation, permission boundaries, SCPs, tag policies, exception controls, or access guardrails.
Use when /internal-aws selects the AWS Lambda lane for handlers, event sources, runtimes, packaging, retries, concurrency, cold starts, or Lambda-specific configuration.
Use when /internal-aws selects the AWS research lane to retrieve current official AWS documentation, regional availability, service behavior, IAM state, or policy-simulation evidence.
Use when /internal-aws selects the AWS operations lane for monitoring, logging, rollout validation, backup and restore proof, DR evidence, reporting, or audit evidence.

requirement remains noisy after lane selection.Use this skill as the fast path for concrete bounded work that should finish in the current run. It owns the decision to continue or stop, then answers, edits, diagnoses, or validates end-to-end when the target, anti-scope, and validation path are concrete enough to execute safely.
Ordinary full-gate work continues after the internal Readiness Brief without redundant approval. An approval boundary produces stop-with-reason. Non-trivial work with an established validation gap stops before execution. trivial-skip may report an exact bounded validation gap. gate requirements are pre-action expectations; Gate Evidence is the actual internal ledger recorded during work. The default helper text has no more than four content lines.
Stop only when the work becomes materially complex, too costly for the current run, ambiguous, unsafe, multi-phase, approval-bound, or not locally verifiable. Stop output must explain the boundary break instead of delegating by name.
Use local references and scripts only to keep the decision process compact and deterministic. Keep working state small, inspect bounded evidence first, and preserve direct completion ownership inside this bundle.
Classify the task before operational work as trivial-skip, full-gate, or stop-with-reason.
trivial-skip only for a local answer, tiny edit, focused read, or validator run with no material ambiguity, no material risk, and an obvious validation path or explicit validation gap.full-gate for every other same-run task.stop-with-reason when risk, cost, ambiguity, approval, validation, or phase count breaks same-run completion.full, idea, and complete forbid trivial-skip.For stop-with-reason, report:
why stoppedviolated conditionuser decision neededevidence required before continuingFor trivial-skip, do not create a ledger. Name the validation path directly, or state the exact validation gap.
For full-gate, complete the gates in this order:
/grill-me block only when a missing bounded fact blocks the active lane./internal-gateway-critical-master before non-trivial action./internal-tdd before implementation and follow its routed posture./addyosmani-code-simplification; do not create a simplification pass after unrelated implementation.Initial Idea Ordering is local to this skill and must cover:

TaskGoalScopeAnti-scopeFiles expectedApproachExecutable behaviorValidation pathMain riskStop conditionsApprovalFor full-gate work, keep a compact ledger before final claims. Each row must be done, skipped, or blocked and must include evidence or a gap.
Required rows:
bounded-evidencecomplexity-costinitial-idea-orderingclarificationcritical-challengereadiness-briefexecutionvalidationfinal-evidenceUse skipped only when the gate policy allows it and the reason is explicit. Use blocked when the missing evidence prevents a completion, readiness, passing, fixed, or no-gap claim.
When execution is authorized, iterate with the smallest useful cycle:
Keep the implementation posture simple:
Keep the Readiness Brief fields as an internal readiness record. Keep Gate Evidence internal by default; normal chat must not dump either structure.
Render one compact user-facing projection:
🧭 names the quick plan or decision.🎯 states the goal.🛠️ states the bounded change.🧪 states the validation path or exact gap.⚠️ states a material risk or blocker when present.✅ states a verified result.💡 gives one short reason when it changes the decision.✈️ states the exact user action when approval or direction is required.Omit fields that do not affect the user. Use no more than four content lines.
Use --format json when complete readiness and evidence data is required.
