- AI ads strategist + campaign generation orchestrator. Builds complete advertising strategies, platform-specific ad copy, audience personas, competitive intel, funnel architecture, budget allocation, A/B test plans, and client-ready PDF reports. Fans out to 5 parallel specialist agents for the flagship strategy audit. Use when the user says "/ads", "ads strategy", "ad campaign", "ad copy", "audience personas", "ad budget", "ad funnel", "competitor ads", "PPC", "Meta/Google/TikTok/LinkedIn ads", or in French "stratégie pub", "campagne publicitaire", "copy de pub", "audit pub", "budget pub", "personas pub", "tunnel de pub".
> Portability note: PDF generation calls `~/.claude/skills/ads/scripts/generate_ads_pdf.py` (an OmegaOS-VPS path). On other hosts, point to the local copy of that script or substitute any markdown→PDF tool; the strategy logic is host-independent.

## Routing Logic
When the user invokes `/ads <command>`, route to the appropriate sub-skill.
### Full Ad Strategy (`/ads strategy <url>`)
This is the flagship command. It launches **5 parallel subagents** to build a complete advertising strategy:
1. **ads-audience** agent → Audience research, personas, targeting parameters
2. **ads-creative** agent → Ad copy, hooks, creative concepts, video scripts
3. **ads-funnel** agent → Campaign structure, funnel stages, retargeting flows
4. **ads-competitive** agent → Competitor ad analysis, gaps, positioning opportunities
5. **ads-budget** agent → Budget allocation, platform mix, projected ROI
**Scoring Methodology (Ad Readiness Score 0-100):**
| Category | Weight | What It Measures |
|----------|--------|------------------|
| Audience Clarity | 25% | ICP definition, persona depth, targeting precision |
| Creative Quality | 20% | Hook strength, copy quality, visual concepts, video scripts |
| Funnel Architecture | 20% | Campaign structure, stages, retargeting, conversion path |
| Competitive Position | 15% | Differentiation, competitor gaps, market opportunity |
| Budget Efficiency | 20% | Allocation strategy, platform mix, projected CPM/CPC/CPA |
**Composite Ad Readiness Score** = Weighted average of all 5 categories
## Dynamic Workflow orchestration
The flagship `/ads strategy` is a fan-out workflow over the 5 units above — run it as one, never linearly.
1. **Plan** — fetch the homepage (+ key funnel pages) once with `WebFetch`; detect business type + best platforms (see Platform/Business Context tables); write a shared brief (company, ICP guess, platforms, primary KPI). All 5 agents read this brief.
2. **Parallel fan-out** — dispatch the 5 units concurrently, file-disjoint (one output file each, per R-SCOPE):
- `ads-audience` → personas + targeting
- `ads-creative` → hooks, copy, video scripts
- `ads-funnel` → campaign structure + retargeting
- `ads-competitive` → competitor gaps + positioning
- `ads-budget` → allocation + projected CPM/CPC/CPA
3. **Adversarial verify (2-of-3)** — before synthesis, challenge each unit's claims through 3 lenses; accept only what ≥2 agree on:
- *Reality lens* — is every stat/CPC/competitor claim cited to a fetched source or labeled an estimate? Unsourced numbers are flagged, not shipped.
- *Platform-fit lens* — does each ad obey the real specs/limits of its platform (char counts, aspect ratios)?
- *ICP lens* — does the creative actually speak to the persona, or is it generic?
Any claim failing 2-of-3 is corrected or dropped (no silent pass — L1/R-VERIFY).
4. **Synthesize** — YOU merge the verified units into the composite Ad Readiness Score (weights table) + a single coherent strategy. Never paste an agent's section as the verdict; resolve cross-unit conflicts (e.g. budget vs. platform mix) yourself.
5. **Loop-until-dry** (unbounded inputs only) — if multiple URLs/competitors/platforms are in scope, repeat the fan-out per item until the queue is empty, then synthesize across all.
### Quick Snapshot (`/ads quick <url>`)
Fast 60-second ad readiness assessment. Do NOT launch subagents. Instead:
1. Fetch the homepage using `WebFetch`
2. Evaluate: value proposition clarity, offer strength, trust signals, CTA quality, landing page readiness
3. Output a quick scorecard with top 3 strengths and top 3 gaps
4. Recommend which platform to start with and estimated budget
5. Keep output under 40 lines
### Individual Commands
For all other commands (`/ads audience`, `/ads copy`, etc.), route to the corresponding sub-skill.
## Platform Detection
Before generating any ad content, detect the best platforms for this business:
- **Local Service Business** (plumber, dentist, HVAC) → Google Ads (search intent), Facebook/Instagram (local targeting), Nextdoor
- **SaaS/Software** → Google Ads (search), LinkedIn (B2B), Facebook/Instagram (retargeting), YouTube (demos)
- **E-commerce** → Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Shopping, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube
- **Creator/Course** → YouTube Ads, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Groups retargeting
- **Agency/Services** → LinkedIn, Google Ads, Facebook, YouTube
- **Restaurant/Hospitality** → Instagram, Facebook, Google Ads (local), TikTok
## Business Context Detection
Before running any analysis, detect the business type:
- **SaaS/Software** → Focus on: free trial CTAs, demo requests, feature comparisons, ROI messaging
- **E-commerce** → Focus on: product showcases, urgency/scarcity, social proof, UGC-style creative
- **Local Business** → Focus on: service area targeting, reviews/ratings in ads, call extensions, maps
- **Agency/Services** → Focus on: case studies, results-driven copy, consultation CTAs, authority building
- **Creator/Course** → Focus on: transformation promises, testimonials, limited-time pricing, community
## Output Standards
All outputs must follow these rules:
1. **Platform-specific** — Every ad must fit the exact specs and best practices of its platform
2. **Copy-paste ready** — Ad copy should be ready to paste into the ad platform without editing
3. **Audience-first** — Start with who you're targeting, then write the ad for them
4. **Data-backed** — Include estimated CPM, CPC, CPA ranges where possible
5. **Test-oriented** — Always provide A/B variations, never just one version
6. **Client-ready** — Reports should be presentable to clients without editing
## Output contract + verify
**Produces** (per the Command Reference table): one descriptive `.md` per command in the CWD, plus the composite **Ad Readiness Score (0-100)** for `/ads strategy`, and optionally `ADS-STRATEGY-REPORT.pdf`.
**Done criteria (grade against this, not vibes — R-RUBRIC):**
- Every requested deliverable file exists and is copy-paste ready (no placeholders, no `[TODO]`).
- `/ads strategy` includes all 5 sections + the weighted composite score + ≥2 A/B variations per ad.
- Every quantitative claim (CPM/CPC/CPA, competitor spend, market size) is either cited to a fetched source or explicitly labeled an estimate with its basis. No invented numbers (R-CITE / no-hallucination).
- Ad copy respects each platform's real specs (character limits, aspect ratios, policy).
**Verify step:** re-read the user's command, confirm each promised file was written (`ls`), open the strategy file and check the composite score + all 5 sections are present, then report a one-line checklist of what was produced. If a unit genuinely could not be sourced (e.g. competitor data blocked), record it explicitly — never silently drop it (L4).
## File Output
All markdown outputs saved to the current working directory with descriptive filenames.
PDF reports generated via `Bash(python3 ~/.claude/skills/ads/scripts/generate_ads_pdf.py)` (see portability note at top).
