Key Principles
- N8N_ENCRYPTION_KEY must match across all instances — main + workers
- PostgreSQL required for queue mode — SQLite = dev only
- Enable execution pruning — old executions bloat the DB fast
- Use managed databases — PostgreSQL + Redis from cloud provider for reliability
