Procedural Workflow

1. Frame — Write 1–3 answerable questions + source budget (e.g. 5 web + 3 repo hits). Note freshness cutoff (e.g. ≥2024).
2. Primary-first gather — Open standards, official docs, and canonical repos before secondary blogs. Prefer site: / path-scoped queries.

Constraints & Gotchas

• Uncited hard facts = hallucinations; reject or re-fetch.
• Single-source answers inherit that source's bias — require ≥2 independent lines when stakes are high.
• SERP rank ≠ authority; stale high-rank pages are common — always check dates.
• Code search without path/module context misleads (homonyms, generated code, vendored copies).
• Link dumps without synthesis are not research.
• Abstract-only or paywalled pages: mark as unverified, do not paraphrase as fact.
• Do not use outside Research & retrieval (route /cat-research or /opgrok).

• Invented or reconstructed citations
• Unranked URL lists as the deliverable
• Collapsing fact/inference/opinion into one voice
• Treating README marketing copy as runtime behavior
