Search Repositories

Search repos sorted by stars:

Issues & Pull Requests

List open issues (if gh is available):

gh issue list --repo OWNER/REPO --limit 10

List PRs:

gh pr list --repo OWNER/REPO --limit 10

View PR with checks:

gh pr checks PR_NUMBER --repo OWNER/REPO

CI / Workflow Runs

List recent runs:

gh run list --repo OWNER/REPO --limit 10

View failed logs:

gh run view RUN_ID --repo OWNER/REPO --log-failed

Advanced API Queries

Use gh api or curl for anything not covered above:

gh api repos/OWNER/REPO/pulls/55 --jq '.title, .state, .user.login'

JSON output with jq filtering:

After Install: Register to SkillForge

If you cloned a GitHub repository whose contents are a Claude skill (i.e. the clone directory contains a SKILL.md), the local clone is invisible to SkillForge until you register it. After gh repo clone <owner>/<repo> (or any equivalent git clone into a whitelisted directory), you MUST call:

Without this step, the cloned skill is not visible to SkillForge (dashboard catalog, t_skill table, subsequent agent turns). The sourcePath must be inside one of the configured skillforge.skill-import.allowed-source-roots.

Important Notes

• Use curl + GitHub REST API when gh CLI is not installed
• Always use --json or | python3 -c for structured output
• GitHub API has rate limits (60/hour unauthenticated, 5000/hour with token)
• For repo search, use sort=stars to find popular projects efficiently
