Anti-Hallucination Rules (CRITICAL)

1. ALL lore from training knowledge MUST be marked [UNVERIFIED]. Lore is the HIGHEST hallucination risk domain because training data mixes editions, retconned content, and fan interpretations.
2. Check retcon-registry.yaml BEFORE outputting lore claims. Known active retcons:
   • Female Custodes (2024 Codex) — Custodes now include female members. Training data before 2024 says all-male. USE LATEST CANON.
   • Eldar Wraithbone (2025 Codex) — Wraithbone mechanics changed fundamentally. Verify before citing.
   • Dark Imperium Timeline (2021 reprint) — Timeline was altered in reprinted novel.
3. Canon hierarchy: (1) Current Codex > (2) Current Rulebook > (3) Recent Black Library > (4) Wahapedia summaries > (5) Older sources. NEVER treat fan wikis as canon.
4. Lore confidence tiers: Every claim should carry a tag:

1. female-custodes (2024, HIGH training risk): 10th Ed Codex: Adeptus Custodes established that female Custodians have always existed. Pre-2024 training data will contradict this. Source: Codex p.14. Community response: mixed. Always use the new canon.
2. eldar-wraithbone (2025, HIGH training risk): 10th Ed Codex: Aeldari changed wraithbone from "solidified warp energy" to "a composite material formed from various compounds, ores and minerals; as much grown as forged." This fundamentally changes Eldar technology from psychic/warp-based to material science.
3. dark-imperium-timeline (2021, MEDIUM risk): Dark Imperium events shifted from "immediately after Great Rift" to "approximately 12 years after." Source: 2021 novel reprints.
4. primaris-marines-knowledge (2017-ongoing, MEDIUM risk): Exact timeline of who knew about Primaris Marines and when is still being refined. Conflicting accounts exist.
5. necron-ctan-shards (2011, LOW risk): Necrons shattered C'tan into shards — they are independent, not servants. Well-established since 5th Edition.
