安全与额度默认

1. 第一顺位始终是官方 Grok CLI，通过 ~/.grok/auth.json 的账号 OAuth 使用 Grok 订阅自带额度。

3. ask_grok、review_with_grok、challenge_with_grok 只使用官方 Grok CLI 账号额度；OpenCLI/xreach 不能替代普通模型咨询。
4. 登录失效、401/403、权限错误、输入错误、超时、网络错误、服务异常或官方 CLI 的搜索证据无法核验均不得触发静默回退；它们不是“额度用完”。
5. OpenCLI 与 xreach 只允许读取，不得点赞、转发、关注、发帖、私信或改动账号；避免批量、高频和长时间分页。

Choose a tool

• Use ask_grok for an independent answer, alternative framing, or second opinion.
• Use review_with_grok to review a draft, plan, analysis, or proposed answer against a stated goal.
• Use challenge_with_grok to stress-test a claim, expose assumptions, and generate counterarguments.
• Use search_x_with_grok for every X/Twitter keyword search. It first launches the official Grok CLI with native x_search; only explicit account quota exhaustion may enter anonymous FxTwitter. If that route is unavailable or empty, obtain explicit current-task authorization before setting allow_authenticated_fallback=true for OpenCLI/xreach. It extracts candidate status URLs, decodes the timestamps embedded in their Snowflake IDs, converts them to the requested timezone, and filters them to a rolling window or fixed calendar date.

Workflow

1. Call a Grok tool when the user explicitly asks for Grok or when a high-impact decision materially benefits from an independent adversarial check.
2. All four tools use the official Grok CLI at ~/.grok/bin/grok (or GROK_CONSULT_CLI) with account OAuth completed through grok login. X-only authenticated fallbacks additionally require OpenCLI and xreach to have usable local X authentication and allow_authenticated_fallback=true after explicit current-task authorization. For X/web research, call search_x_with_grok; do not substitute ask_grok and expect it to browse.
3. For a fixed day, pass date as YYYY-MM-DD and pass an IANA timezone, normally Asia/Shanghai. For a rolling search, omit date and pass hours.
4. For a broad request such as 20 AI/technology posts, call search_x_with_grok several times with disjoint buckets such as major labs/models, agents/coding tools, chips/robotics, security, and product/industry news. Reuse the same date/timezone, merge by tweet_id, and rank after deduplication. This is still a single-Skill workflow.
5. Read <grok_consult_route> first. On the official CLI route, require <native_search_verification>.verified: true and x_search_completed_call_count >= 1. On FxTwitter/OpenCLI/xreach routes, require <local_reader_verification>.read_only: true and remember that no second-model opinion was produced.
6. Then read <x_post_time_verification>. Use only its matched array for the requested window. Treat created_at_utc and created_at_local as deterministic timestamps encoded in status IDs, not independent proof that X issued or currently serves those IDs.
7. Pair the deterministic URL/time fields with Grok's content analysis. Treat views, likes, reposts, quotations, and content claims as verified only when evidence supplies them; otherwise mark them unknown. Transcript proof of an XSearch call does not independently prove that each final-answer URL appeared in raw tool output.
8. Complete X discovery and publication-time recovery inside this Skill. The final xreach route is a bounded read-only CLI fallback; do not invoke another browser/search Skill outside this defined chain. A separate destination Skill may still be used when the user also asks to write the finished rows to Feishu, Notion, or another system.

X timestamp contract

• A real X status URL contains a Snowflake ID. The MCP tool decodes it with integer-safe arithmetic, using Twitter epoch 1288834974657 and the 22-bit timestamp shift, then converts UTC to the requested timezone.
• This reveals the timestamp encoded in that numeric status ID. It does not prove that X issued or currently serves the ID, nor does it prove the post text, edit history, author identity behind x.com/i/status/..., or engagement metrics.
• A candidate URL's provenance identifies the selected route: verified native Grok XSearch, OpenCLI read-only output, or xreach read-only output. It does not by itself prove post text or engagement.
• <x_post_time_verification> is structured JSON with matched, excluded_outside_window, requested date/hours, timezone, and the verification method. Prefer these fields over a timestamp written in Grok's prose.

Boundaries

• These tools do not switch the main Codex model.
• They do not give Grok access to the user's project, local file tools, shell tools, MCP tools, browser state, or the full task history. search_x_with_grok uses permanent private HOME, GROK_HOME, and non-Git workspace directories under ~/.grok/grok-consult/; it allows only native x_search, web_search, and web_fetch. Cursor/Claude/Codex compatibility imports, auto-update, telemetry, feedback, codebase indexing, workflows, memory, subagents, and plan mode are disabled.
• Authentication is not copied: the isolated process uses the real ~/.grok/auth.json through GROK_AUTH_PATH.
• The public plugin does not commit a proxy address. If the network requires a proxy, configure HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY, and related variables in the user's private MCP environment; never commit proxy credentials.
• Each search has a new UUID session. Its private session transcript and Grok logs remain under the isolated GROK_HOME so the tool can verify completed native search calls. This Skill performs no automatic cleanup or deletion; queries and responses may therefore remain on local disk in that private directory.
• ask_grok, review_with_grok, and challenge_with_grok call the official Grok CLI with account OAuth, all tools disabled, web search disabled, no memory, no subagents, and no plan mode. They never fall back to OpenCLI or xreach.
• search_x_with_grok follows exactly: official Grok CLI account quota → only on explicit quota exhaustion, anonymous FxTwitter → only with allow_authenticated_fallback=true after explicit current-task authorization, OpenCLI read-only X adapter → xreach read-only X GraphQL client. Missing login, authorization, timeout, network and service errors are not quota errors and stop the chain.
• OpenCLI relies on the user's live Chrome/X session and a local browser bridge. xreach directly uses X session cookies/GraphQL. Neither route is risk-free; keep frequency and result counts bounded, and do not use write-capable commands.
• Native x_search covers public X content; it does not expose Grok.com's private recommendation feed or account-only X data. Exact view counts may still be unavailable and must not be estimated.
• X keyword search always calls Grok first as the user-selected quality policy. For unrelated consultation turns, continue using Grok deliberately to preserve the shared subscription usage pool.
