Security Posture
CTOX Runtime Contract
- Task spawning is allowed only for real bounded work steps that add mission progress, external waiting, recovery, or explicit decomposition. Do not spawn work merely because review feedback exists.
- The Review Gate is a quality checkpoint, not a control loop. After review feedback, continue the same main work item whenever possible and incorporate the feedback there.
- Do not create review-driven internal work cascades. If more work is needed, reuse or requeue the existing parent work item; create a new task only when it is a distinct bounded work step with a stable parent pointer.
- Every durable follow-up, queue item, plan emission, or internal work item must have a clear parent/anchor: message key, work id, thread key, ticket/case id, or plan step. Missing ancestry is a harness bug, not acceptable ambiguity.
- Rewording-only feedback means revise wording on the same artifact. Substantive feedback means add new evidence or implementation progress. Stale feedback means refresh or consolidate current runtime state before drafting again.
- Before adding follow-up work, check for existing matching internal work, queue, plan, or ticket state and consolidate rather than duplicating.
For CTOX mission work, security findings become durable knowledge only when they are reflected in the CTOX runtime store, ticket knowledge, continuity, or verification records. Standalone notes do not count as durable knowledge by themselves.
Use this skill for exposure, privilege, certificate, secret, firewall, and service-hardening questions.
Do not use it for generic health review or broad inventory:

Use CTOX CLI/API commands as the execution boundary. Do not execute embedded scripts/ helpers from this system skill; if posture capture or persistence lacks a CTOX command, add that command before relying on it.

Harness Compliance Surface
The host posture (sockets, sudo, firewall) does not capture how the agent
itself enforces compliance constraints inside the harness. Use these to
audit the harness layer:

What to read for findings:
evidence_presence[].evidence_keys[]: per evidence-key presence ratio
on protected entity types (e.g. FounderCommunication). A
review_audit_key presence ratio < 1.0 across recent proofs is a
critical finding — the protected lane has been entered without the
required audit evidence. Tie it to the affected entity_type and
capture the ratio as evidence.
constraint_coverage[].dominant_violation_code: per (entity, lane,
from->to) the most frequent violation class, for example a founder-send body mismatch
or founder_send_requires_review_audit appearing in any lane with
rejected > 0 is a posture finding, not a one-off bug — the audit
contract is being missed at scale.
rule_firing[]: declared transition rules ranked by audit_count.
enabled: true with audit_count: 0 over a non-trivial window means
a declared compliance rule never matched live traffic — either the
policy is stale or a real evasion path is bypassing it. Both cases
are posture findings.
Treat any non-zero presence-ratio violation on a protected entity as
critical; treat dead rules as warning unless the protected scope is
financial or owner-visible.
Workflow
- Define the security surface.
- Capture raw evidence for accounts, listeners, firewall, certs, permissions, and hardening.
For harness-internal posture, also run
harness-mining multiperspective
and treat the three sub-reports above as first-class evidence.
- Read the raw output and tie every finding to exact evidence.
- Persist a
compliance_snapshot, concrete security_finding rows, and a remediation_plan.
- Hand real mutations to
change_lifecycle.

Security review usually ends in proposed or prepared. Do not imply hardening was applied unless a real mutation happened and was verified.
Completion Gate
Do not finish the reply until all of the following are true:

- any mutation request is clearly separated into
Escalation or handed off to change_lifecycle
- if remediation work remains open, a durable next work step exists instead of vague prose
Guardrails

- No blind privilege revokes or secret rotation.
