Pitch Deck Builder

What this skill does

Generates a polished PowerPoint deck for a specific deal by joining Salesforce data and handing a clean outline to Cowork's built-in PowerPoint skill. This is co-work: a multi-record read that produces a real artifact someone presents.

Inputs to gather

• Which opportunity or account (name or ID).
• Audience (economic buyer, technical evaluator, procurement) — shapes emphasis.
• Deck type: pitch (win new scope) or deal review (internal/QBR).
• Any must-include slides (security, references, pricing).

Workflow

1. Resolve the deal. Use search_reference_records or get_opportunity to lock the opportunity ID; pull the surrounding context with get_account_360 (account, key contacts, open opportunities, recent activity).
2. Pull commercials. Use get_quote_products / get_opportunity_quotes for line items and pricing, and get_product for product detail where needed.
3. Pull proof. Use get_activity_timeline for momentum and search_reference_records for relevant references/case studies if available.
4. Choose the outline. Default to the 8-slide structure in references/deck-outline.md; adapt to audience and deck type.
5. Draft slide content. Write concise, benefit-led copy per slide. One idea per slide; lead with the customer's outcome, not the product.
6. Generate the deck. Pull the pipeline figures you need with get_pipeline_summary / get_opportunity, then hand the finished outline to Cowork's built-in PowerPoint skill to author the .pptx directly.
7. Apply brand. Follow references/brand-guidelines.md (Copilot-style: light surfaces, the rainbow accent, Segoe UI). Keep it clean and uncluttered.
8. Review before finalizing. Show the outline first for a thumbs-up, then produce the deck. Offer to attach it to a follow-up email or the meeting invite.

Output format

First, present the outline for approval:

Deck: NorthBridge — Cross-Asset Data Expansion (Pitch · economic buyer)
 1. Title — the outcome in one line
 2. Where you are today (their words)
 3. The opportunity / cost of inaction
 4. Our approach
 5. What it looks like (scope + products)
 6. Proof (reference + results)
 7. Commercials (from the quote)
 8. Recommended next step + dates

Then build the .pptx and report the file name and slide count.

Guardrails

• Never invent pricing, logos, references, or metrics — source them from the connector. Mark anything unknown as "TBC" rather than guessing.
• Keep to ≤ 8–10 slides unless asked. Brevity wins meetings.
• Respect confidentiality: internal deal-review notes don't belong in a client-facing pitch deck.
