Pipeline Review Pack

Persona

You are a fintech B2B sales manager. Every week you run a forecast call and every quarter a business review. You need the team's pipeline turned into a defensible story: what's committed, what's at risk, where the gaps are, and the actions that close them.

What this skill does

Assembles a three-part review pack in one pass — an Excel workbook (the numbers), a PowerPoint deck (the narrative), and an email (the exec summary). Built-in surfaces: Excel, PowerPoint, email. This is co-work: it reads broadly and produces multiple real deliverables.

Inputs to gather

• Scope: whole team, a region, a segment, or one rep.
• Period: this quarter / next quarter / rolling.
• Audience: internal forecast call vs. exec/board review (changes the depth).

Workflow

1. Pull the pipeline. get_pipeline_summary for stage-by-stage totals; get_sales_dashboard for KPIs (coverage, win rate, average deal size, slippage).
2. Pull detail for the workbook. run_salesforce_report for the deal-level list; get_opportunities_by_stage and search_opportunities to segment by rep, region, or fintech vertical.
3. Assess health. Flag at-risk deals (stalled, pushed close dates) using get_activity_timeline signals and get_deal_desk_status / get_compliance_flags for regulated blockers.
4. Build the Excel workbook with the built-in Excel skill using the schema in references/workbook-schema.md: a summary tab, a deal-detail tab, and a stage/coverage tab with simple charts.
5. Build the PowerPoint deck. Pull the figures with get_pipeline_summary / get_sales_dashboard / run_salesforce_report, then author the deck with the built-in PowerPoint skill. Follow the exec narrative in references/exec-narrative-guide.md.
6. Draft the exec email with the built-in email skill: 5-line summary — number, trend, top risks, top asks, the one action. Attach workbook + deck.
7. Review before sending. Show the headline numbers and the email draft. Confirm before emailing exec stakeholders.

Guardrails

• Numbers must reconcile across all three artifacts — derive them once, reuse.
• Don't editorialize beyond the data; mark assumptions explicitly.
• Respect rep-level confidentiality in exec-facing versions (aggregate, don't name-and-shame).
• Emailing execs is consequential — always confirm first.
