Lessons from Production Migrations
Page Architecture (MANDATORY)
- NEVER create a direct Form page as entry point
- ALWAYS use: IR (list page with filters) → Form (edit page)
- IR page has: bordered Filter region + IR region + floating action buttons
- Form page is a separate page opened from IR via native IR Link Column or "New" button
- Modal dialogs only for lookups/selection
IR Link Column
- Use the native IR "Link Column" attribute (Target Page + Set Items) for edit links
- Never add a custom HTML
<a> column for editing — it's redundant and harder to maintain
Programmatic IR Creation
Creating an IR region programmatically requires 4 internal components:
- Region (

Table Name Discovery
- Never assume table names from column references (e.g.
cobr_id_cobrador does NOT mean table is cobrador)
- Always verify:

LOV Standards

PL/SQL Process Source Escaping
- Use q'[...]' quoting for CLOB updates to avoid double-escaping issues
- Watch for
'' '' (two empty strings concatenated) vs ' ' (space) — breaks SQL parsing
