Slab Photography for Listing
Slab photos need: flat front, flat back, angle showing label, close-up of grade, optional 30° glamour. Lighting controlled.
The 5-photo standard
- Front: straight-on, fills frame, label visible
- Back: straight-on, full back image
- Label close-up: cert # readable
- Grade detail: focus on number/sub-grades
- 30° glamour shot: optional, for premium listings
Lighting setup
- Diffused daylight LED (5500K)
- Two-source: top + side, both diffused
- Avoid direct overhead (creates hot spots on slab)
- Avoid reflections from slab gloss (angle lighting)
- White or neutral background for clean cutout
Image specs for platforms
- eBay: 1600×1600 minimum, 8 photos
- PWCC consignment: 2400×2400+, professional photography included
