Dependency Vetting Skill
Purpose
Prevent supply chain attacks by vetting packages before installation:
- Detect typosquatting (e.g.,
reqeusts instead of requests)
- Check for known vulnerabilities (CVEs)
- Verify package legitimacy (download counts, age, maintainer)
- Warn on low adoption or suspicious patterns
