Links panel → Select modified link → Click "Update Link" icon

Edit → Preflight Profiles → New Profile
Set rules:
  - Images: Min 300 DPI, CMYK only
  - Fonts: No missing, no OpenType features unsupported
  - Text: No overset

General:

  ☑ Spreads: OFF (for perfect binding)
  ☑ Spreads: ON (for saddle stitch)

  Color Images: 300 PPI, JPEG Maximum
  Grayscale: 300 PPI, JPEG Maximum

1. Create base Body Text style (10pt, leading 12pt)
2. Create derivative styles:
   - Body First ¶ (based on Body, first-line indent 0)
   - Body Drop Cap (based on Body, drop cap 3 lines)
3. Apply programmatically via Find/Grep
4. Update design by editing style definition

1. Draw frame with Rectangle Frame Tool (F)
2. Set frame to exact dimensions
3. Object → Fitting → Frame Fitting Options:
   - Fitting: Fill Frame Proportionally
   - ☑ Auto-Fit
4. File → Place → Select image
5. Image auto-fills and centers

Window → Styles → Object Styles → New
Name: "Photo Frame - Full Bleed"
Settings:
  - Stroke: None
  - Frame Fitting: Fill Frame Proportionally
  - Auto-Fit: ON

1. File → New → Book
2. Save as "project-name.indb"
3. Add documents: Book panel menu → Add Document
4. Synchronize styles:
   - Right-click source document → Synchronize Options
   - Check Paragraph Styles, Character Styles, Swatches
   - Book panel menu → Synchronize Book
5. Export entire book: Book panel menu → Export Book to PDF

1. Tag headings with styles (Heading 1, Heading 2)

7. Click to place TOC text frame

Layout → Update Table of Contents

Edit → Preferences → Type → Highlight: Custom (set color for overset)
View → Extras → Show Text Threads (Ctrl+Alt+Y)

Edit → Transparency Blend Space → Document CMYK

File → Export → Adobe PDF (Print)
Compression:
  - Color/Grayscale: Downsample to 300 PPI
  - Compression: JPEG, Quality: High (not Maximum)
  - Monochrome: Downsample to 1200 PPI, CCITT Group 4
