SeeCode turns a short brief into an animated diagram you can explore by tracing, focusing and following a route. This creator update describes 45 diagram types, brand styling, Mermaid input and SVG, PNG, GIF or MP4 export.
SeeCode: animated diagrams you can explore
Create standalone, animated HTML diagrams from a compact JSON specification. The page lets readers trace connections, focus on a component and step through a flow; diagrams can also be exported for documents or video.

Uses
For explaining architecture, processes, API exchanges, state changes, database relationships or data. Existing diagram formats and structured files can be imported as the starting point for a new specification.
Prerequisites
The bundled renderer runs with Node.js. Export requirements depend on the chosen format; the source provides a doctor command to check missing tools.
How to use
The source uses SC as shorthand for node /scripts/seecode.mjs. Check configuration with SC config status, choose a diagram type suited to the destination, and save a compact specification in the configured output directory. Run SC render <spec.json>, then apply the reported fixes. For documents or slides, the source prefers SVG and provides SC export <diagram.html> --for .
Limitations
Keep a single diagram within the source’s budget of nine nodes and twelve edges, or split it. The workflow stops after three repair rounds and reports unresolved issues.
Install options

- description
- Create animated, explorable editorial diagrams in 42 types (architecture, flowchart, sequence, state, ER, DB schema, UML class, swimlane, timeline, gantt, journey, tree, org chart, nested, venn, quadrant, fishbone, wardley, bar, line, scatter, sankey, treemap, heatmap and more) as standalone HTML from a short JSON spec. Use when the user asks to draw, diagram, chart or visualize a system, codebase, flow, process, API call sequence, hierarchy or data; to convert Mermaid, Graphviz/DOT, PlantUML, D2, draw.io, Excalidraw, SQL or CSV into a clean diagram; or to export a diagram as PNG, JPEG, SVG, GIF or MP4.
