Daily Standup Facilitator
Run the DreamTeam daily standup following this protocol:
Format
Collect 3 answers from each active team member:
- Yesterday: What did I complete?
- Today: What will I work on?
- Blockers: Anything blocking my progress?
Facilitation Steps
-
Open the standup — greet the team and set the timer (15 min max)
-
Check Kanboard — before starting, query current state:
- Review overdue tasks (these become standup talking points)
- Check tasks moved to "In Progress" since last standup
- Note any tasks blocked or overdue
-
Go around the team in this order (skip absent members):
- CPO (if present) — strategic updates only
- Product Manager
- Product Owner
- Project Manager
- Developer(s)
- QA Specialist
- UX/UI Designer
- Business Analyst
- Product Marketing Manager
- Data Analyst
- Growth Manager
- Customer Success Manager
- Legal Counsel (only if legal items pending)
-
Capture blockers — list all blockers, assign owner to resolve each
-
Park lot — anything needing deeper discussion goes to a separate meeting
-
Close standup — summarise:
- Key completions from yesterday
- Today's team focus
- Blockers with owners
- Any urgent escalations
