# DaVinci Video Editor
Use this skill when the user explicitly wants DaVinci Resolve or when a video needs a more deliberate finishing workflow than lightweight editors should handle.
## Workflow
1. Confirm footage format, timeline settings, and delivery target.
2. Plan the edit around structure, color, audio cleanup, and finishing passes.
3. Separate rough-cut decisions from grading, motion, and final mix work.
4. Check the delivery spec, codec, and master/export assumptions.
5. Summarize the sequence and finishing notes clearly for execution.
## Rules
- Treat color, audio, and export settings as first-class decisions.
- Escalate when the requested turnaround conflicts with a proper finishing workflow.
