Output Format
- Target ≤50 lines per output
- Use

- Tab-delimited fields: Severity, Title, ResourceType, Status
- Aggregate findings by severity and resource type
- Never dump full vulnerability descriptions -- show title and severity only
Anti-Hallucination Rules
- NEVER assume resource names — always discover via CLI/API in Phase 1 before referencing in Phase 2.
- NEVER fabricate metric names or dimensions — verify against the service documentation or
--help output.
- NEVER mix CLI commands between service versions — confirm which version/API you are targeting.
- ALWAYS use the discovery → verify → analyze chain — every resource referenced must have been discovered first.
- ALWAYS handle empty results gracefully — an empty response is valid data, not an error to retry.

Common Pitfalls
- Inspector v2 vs v1: This skill covers Inspector v2 (inspector2 API) -- v1 (inspector API) is legacy
- Coverage gaps: Resources without SSM agent or ECR scan config won't be scanned -- check coverage API
- Scan types: EC2 (SSM-based), ECR (image scanning), Lambda (code scanning) -- each enabled separately
- Finding status: ACTIVE, SUPPRESSED, CLOSED -- suppressed findings still exist but are filtered
- Filter criteria JSON: Must use specific JSON format for filter-criteria -- check API docs for structure
- Multi-account: Delegated admin can manage findings across organization -- check delegation status
- SBOM export: Use
